A. Bookings must be made at least one day prior to departure.

A. You will receive an email when you have completed the booking and you will receive a second email when the ticket is issued.

Q. Is there a Reservation Center that my client can call if they need to make last minute changes and my agency is not open?

A. No, however you can book up to 9 passengers in each reservation.

Q. Am I able to book all airlines?
A. All airlines available in the Sabre GDS can be booked. Southwest is not bookable in any GDS.

Q. Do all bookings with the participating airlines pay a commission?
A. Some of the international airlines pay commissions on all bookings while most of them pay a commission on certain itineraries and in certain fare classes. Since commission levels and commissionable itineraries change frequently you can get up to date details by calling us at 800.843.0733.

Q. When will my commission and service fees (if applicable) be paid out to me?
A. Commission/Service Fees are paid out monthly. Along with the deposit in your bank account, you will receive an email with the amount deposited and an attachment of each booking for which a payment is being made.

Q. Are commissions be paid out to the agency owner/manager or to individual booking agents?
A. Commissions are paid directly to the owner/manager for their distribution according to agency policy.

Q. Why do I need to have a credit card on file with AirPRO Fulfillment Center?
A. In case any issues occur, fees/chargebacks will be charged on the agency's credit card. Generally this will happen only if the amount of the fees/chargebacks exceed the amount collected in commission and service fees.

Q. Why do I need to go through a credit check to sell through AirPRO?
A. Only the agency owner is required to pass a credit check conducted by a third party. This is just to confirm that there is no outstanding bad debt.

Q. How many charges will display on the credit card entered into the AirPRO Booking Engine?
A. Your clients will see one line item charge for the airline ticket and one line item charge for the agency service fee, if any.

Q. How does the airline ticket display on my client’s credit card?
A. It varies by whether or not the credit card company subscribes to Airline Reporting Corporation data feeds. Some credit card statements show the charge as the carrier, others show it as “Nexion”.

A. It varies by whether or not the credit card company subscribes to Airline Reporting Corporation data feeds. Most frequently it shows as “Travel Related Services on the credit card statement.

Q. Will AirPRO Ticketing Center be in contact with my client if I book them using this tool?
A. No, the AirPRO Ticketing Center will only be in contact with the booking agency.

Q. Why do you require I provide bank account information?
A. Earned commissions and service fees are paid by direct deposit into the bank account the agency provides.

Q. How will schedule changes be handled?
A. Notification of the change are sent to the email address entered at the time of booking.

Q. Can I hold a ticket for 24hrs without a credit card?
A. No you must provide the clients credit card to hold a ticket.

Q. How long does it take to issue the ticket once purchased?
A. Tickets are issued within one hour during normal business hours.

Q. What are AirPRO Ticketing Center's hours of operations?
A. M-F 9am-8pm Eastern; Sat 10:30am-6:30pm Eastern. However the ticketing queue is checked once each day on Sundays.

Q. What if I need assistance on a reservation/ticket after AirPRO Ticketing Center's normal hours of operation?
A. As of now, you will need to contact the airline directly. We are working to offer an after hours service in the future.

Q. Can I call the airline directly to make changes to the booking?
A. No you must call the Air Support desk-However your clients can contact the airline directly in the case of an emergency.

Q. Can my client contact the AirPRO Ticketing Center to make changes to his/her own airline ticket?
A. No, only Vacation.com member agencies can contact the AirPRO Ticketing Center for assistance.

Q. Will ticket receipts and invoices/itineraries be printed and sent to my office?
A. No. Virtually all airline tickets are issued electronically - you will receive an email confirmation upon completion of the booking and another email when the ticket(s) are issued. You will then receive a statement each month with the amount of your earned commission for those bookings.

Q. Can I book an airline ticket over the phone through AirPRO?
A. Yes, but you must phone in the exact itinerary that you are ready to book for your client.

A. AirPRO enables members to earn up-front commission on airline tickets from a wide range of carriers.

Q. What are the three AirPRO options?
A. AirPRO Prime is for agencies that are not ARC-Accredited. AirPRO Direct is for ARC-Accredited agencies with annual air volume less than $1 million. AirPRO Excel is for ARC-Accredited agencies with air volume greater than $1 million and who serve certain non-hub markets.

Q. How do I make reservations?
A. You book through a web-based booking engine that is available to members as a link from AgentNet.

Q. Who will issue the tickets?
A. A centralized fulfillment service handles the ticketing--- the AirPRO Ticketing Center, staffed by Nexion, a sister company of Vacation.com.

Q. How much commission can my agency make?
A. This varies by airline contract, points of origin and destination and fare class.

Q. Why do I have to split the commission percentage, and with who?
A. There are considerable costs in operating AirPRO and the commission split (with Vacation.com and Nexion) is necessary for us to be able to afford to offer this program for members’ benefit. AirPRO is a three way win – members win with commission payments they otherwise would not earn, airlines realize business they otherwise would not get and Vacation.com wins by offering an enticing benefits to keep current members and attract new ones. This could not operate without the commission split.

Q. Is there an enrollment fee?
A. Yes a one time set-up fee of $199. This Fee is waived through 6/30/12.

Q. Are there any per ticket fees?
A. There are only fees for tickets that do not earn a commission. The non-commissionable tickets carry a $10 per booking processing fee.

Q. Why do I have to pay $10 for non-commissionable tickets?
A. To contribute to the overhead costs incurred in the ticket fulfillment process and customer service for post-sale.

Q. How are debit memos handled?
A. The AirPRO Ticketing Center will immediately assess all debit memos. However, if there are unresolved issues, we'll contact the booking agent directly for resolution.

Q. How does this differ from the "Uniglobe V" air program?
A. Uniglobe V is geared to qualified corporate oriented agencies with over $1 Million in ARC volume annually. AirPRO Excel is also geared to a similar agency profile, but the two programs have somewhat different carriers and commission structures. Qualified agencies will want to evaluate both options in light of their unique business mix.

Q. How is AirPRO different from EZair?
A. AirPRO is quite different from EZair in that we have about contracts offering up-front commission from many popular airlines in the AirPRO program. Furthermore AirPRO offers features, such as seat maps and seat assignments that were not available through EZair.

Q. AirPRO Prime has so many more airlines than Direct.
A. Can I join the Prime program even though I am ARC Accredited? Airline related requirements prohibit ARC-Accredited agencies from enrolling in AirPRO Prime. However, in some cases it may make sense for certain agencies to give up their ARC-Accreditation or convert to VTC designation in order to benefit from the airline variety in AirPRO Prime.
Also, our goal is to add new carriers to AirPRO Direct in response to Vacation.com member requests.

Q. When will I be able to see the detailed commission rates for each airline in AirPRO?
A. After you are qualified for AirPRO you will receive access to the detailed airline contracts.
